THE MISSION

COZYJUICYREAL is an online community-building game that organizes networking and commuting events for big brands like Amazon and Upwork.

The founders and CEOs Sophia and Jed Lazar needed a way to make their events go smoothly by clarifying how the game is played and how their system works for the participants.

Instead of doing it manually by spending time explaining it each time, they came to me for a custom video solution that could make it easy for their audience to understand how it works.

THE OUTCOME

We decided to create 2 videos, 1 for the rules of the game and 1 for the Miro platform and how it operates, first video was a typical animated explainer video while the second one was a highly edited screencast tutorial.

The biggest challenge was the timeline, 1 week, in order to make it in time for an event they were celebrating with Upwork Inc. Thankfully, the client was pretty responsive and participative on every stage of production, making changes was quick and seamless due to the quick and reasonable feedback.

SERVICES

I was in charge of the Creative Direction and Strategy, as well as executing it through design, animation, and post-production work.

The clients served as the quality control for the reviewing of their brand messaging and the clarity of the video, they also provided me with most of the game-related graphical elements.

THE IMPACT

Despite the difficulties, we were able to sign off the project in time for Upwork's event. According to the client, the videos were met with raving reviews from their own clients, optimizing their process and saving them time and resources, they successfully clarified their offering and their system for players and stakeholders alike.
